Organized by the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), the EIT Info Day was successfully held today, dedicated to presenting opportunities within the 2026 calls.

Mr. Radivoje Drobnjak, Head of the Innovation Programs and Projects Sector at STP, emphasized at the opening the importance of strengthening Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem and connecting domestic actors with European initiatives.

Mr. Ilija Mugoša, EIT Community Officer for Montenegro and Director of Research at the Center for Finance, introduced the attendees to the support offered by EIT, the ways to get involved in EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), and the opportunities for networking and international collaboration at the European level.

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), as a body of the European Union, promotes collaboration between education, research, and industry through the development of innovation communities and strong partnership networks, with the aim of building a competitive, sustainable, and innovative Europe.

The EIT Info Day confirmed the importance of collaboration between national institutions and European programs in creating a supportive environment for innovation development, knowledge transfer, and the internationalization of Montenegrin ideas and projects.
