Representatives of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro participated in the kick-off meeting of the POLICY ENLARGE project, held on April 21–22, 2026, in Budapest at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME). The meeting brought together partners to align key activities and define the directions of cooperation for the upcoming period.
The two-day program provided an opportunity for a detailed presentation of the work plans and governance structure of the project. Participants exchanged experiences on public policy approaches, learning models, and capacity building, as well as on ways to more effectively involve all relevant stakeholders in innovation processes.
This project, implemented within the Horizon Europe programme, represents a direct continuation of the successfully completed POLICY ANSWERS project. This ensures the continuity of activities aimed at improving cooperation and knowledge exchange, while expanding the partner network to include Poland, Türkiye, Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine.
For the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, participation in this project is of particular importance, as our institution assumes the role of task leader for academia–industry cooperation. This position confirms NTP’s efforts to actively contribute to better linking the scientific community with the business sector, thereby directly encouraging the commercialization of scientific achievements and their application in the real economy.
During the meeting in Budapest, key topics were addressed, including dialogue on public policies, joint calls and actions, as well as learning mechanisms and capacity-building tools for partner organizations. Special focus was placed on communication and dissemination of results to ensure that the project’s benefits are visible and accessible to the wider community.
Active participation in the POLICY ENLARGE project represents an important step forward in strengthening the international position of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
Through cooperation with European partners and the application of best practices, STP of MNE continues to work on creating a stronger and higher-quality innovation ecosystem that will open new doors for Montenegrin researchers and entrepreneurs at the international level.
