On April 29, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro hosted a professional session titled “Franco-Montenegrin Startup Ecosystem: Opportunities for Collaboration and Growth,” dedicated to strengthening cooperation between the startup communities of France and Montenegro.

The event brought together STP residents and partners, with a focus on concrete opportunities for connection in the fields of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. Through presentations and discussions, participants were introduced to collaboration models that include access to new markets, funding opportunities, research and development partnerships, as well as the importance of networking through joint initiatives and events.

The speakers at the event were Nathan Laufer and Louis Latournerie, who spoke about the development of the startup ecosystem, with a special focus on strengthening cooperation between France and Montenegro, including various forms of support for startups, the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as creating opportunities for joint participation in international markets.

A special contribution to the event was also made by Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš, who addressed those present and spoke about the broader context of cooperation between France and Montenegro, with a particular focus on the potential in the field of agriculture. He emphasized the importance of connecting traditional sectors with modern technological solutions, as well as the opportunities for joint projects and knowledge exchange between the two countries.

Through this session, the importance of international cooperation for the development of the innovation ecosystem was further emphasized, along with a call for startups and relevant stakeholders to actively explore available resources, support programs, and opportunities for joint development.

The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro continues, through such initiatives, to strengthen its role as a platform for connecting the domestic and international innovation community, encouraging the development of competitive and sustainable startup solutions.
