The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and the Montenegrin-Australian Chamber of Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for future joint activities aimed at strengthening innovation, fostering international connections, and promoting Montenegro’s business and investment potential.

This cooperation represents an important step towards stronger connections between the Montenegrin and Australian business, academic, and innovation ecosystems. The Memorandum opens up opportunities for developing new partnerships among companies, startups, research institutions, investors, and other relevant stakeholders from both countries.

The planned activities will focus on the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices, supporting the development of the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as identifying concrete initiatives that can contribute to the internationalisation of the Montenegrin economy and increase the visibility of local innovative companies in international markets.

Particular opportunities for cooperation have been identified in the fields of information technology, finance, education, energy, mining, sports, and tourism, where there is significant potential for connecting Montenegrin institutions and businesses with partners in Australia.

Through this partnership, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro continues to expand its network of international contacts and collaborations that contribute to strengthening innovation capacity, facilitating knowledge transfer, and creating new opportunities for local companies, startups, and the research community.

In the coming period, the two institutions will work on defining concrete activities and initiatives aimed at further strengthening cooperation among the business, academic, and innovation communities of Montenegro and Australia.
