The conference on the blue economy on the topic “Innovations for the sustainable use of marine and maritime resources in our seas”, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro from June 7 to 9, at the Splendid Conference & Spa Resort Hotel in Budva, as part of the Blue Week. This conference is realized through three EU projects in which the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro participates as a partner – BLUEfasma, financed by the Interreg Mediterranean program, and BLUEAIR and SHIPMENTT Plus, financed by the Interreg ADRION program.
Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Velibor Bošković, was one of the panelists on the first day of the conference on the blue economy on the topic “Innovations for the sustainable use of marine and maritime resources in our seas”.
During the event, special attention was paid to the consideration of various blue projects implemented throughout the Adriatic-Ionian and Mediterranean areas, as well as to the exchange of best practices and recommendations for initiating and strengthening synergies in the area of blue growth, both within the country and abroad.
Tanja Rakonjac, associate in the project sector, attended the second day of the conference. Rakonjac spoke about the activities of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro in the area of the blue economy, referring to the B-Blue project and its achievements
