After a two-year break, this year the Ministry will award cash prizes to the most successful scientists and innovators. The total prize fund amounts to EUR 8,000.

Awards are given in three categories, namely:

• to the most successful scientist – EUR 3,000;
• to the most successful young scientist under the age of 30 – EUR 2,000 and
• to an innovator or a group of innovators for the most successful innovation or invention protected by a patent – EUR 3,000.

Montenegrin citizens who have achieved exceptional results in scientific research or one of the innovative programs in our country or abroad in 2022, or who have protected their invention/innovation with a patent in our country or abroad, are entitled to the award for scientific achievements.

All persons who are interested can apply for the award, ending on December 5, 2022, until 2 p.m. One person can receive an award in only one of the listed categories.
