Startup/spinoff companies, startup teams, development companies and complementary organizations that develop innovative products, services or technologies and meet the specific conditions specified in the public call can apply.
The science and technology park provides infrastructure support (office space, coworking space, meeting rooms, internet access), professional and business support (training, mentoring, marketing) and additional support through networking with partners and institutions.
Applications are submitted exclusively electronically via the website www.ntpark.me, where all necessary forms and detailed instructions for application are available. There are two types of membership:
- Full membership: Full membership in the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (NTP Montenegro) implies a physical presence in the park and the use of business premises and all offered services. Full membership members have access to a wide range of resources and support that NTP CG offers.
- Virtual membership in the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro enables companies and individuals to use the park's resources and services without the need for physical presence. Benefits include:
- Support and advice: Consultations with experts.
- Networking: Access to a network of members, partners and investors.
- Access to information: Databases, research materials.
- Flexibility and cost savings: There is no need for physical presence, which saves time and money
This form of membership is ideal for startups and small businesses that want access to the innovation ecosystem and support without the need for a permanent physical presence.

Additionally, startup/spinoff companies must not be in liquidation or bankruptcy proceedings, their legal representatives must not be convicted of criminal offenses, and their products or technologies must not endanger the environment.
Applications are evaluated according to the criteria defined in the Public Calls, and among others, some of the most important criteria are: stage of product/service development, degree of innovation, growth potential on the international market, planned employment, financial results and cooperation with scientific and research organizations.
Depending on the number of received applications, the evaluation can last a maximum of 30 days.
Members can use office space, coworking space, congress halls, specialized laboratories, parking spaces, warehouse space and other common spaces such as gym and children's playroom.
The membership agreement can last up to four years (maximum five years) for startup/spinoff and development companies, or up to five years for complementary organizations, with the possibility of extension.
Yes, the market value of infrastructure services is defined by the Decision on the price of infrastructure services of the NTP of Montenegro, and members pay different percentages of the value of the services during the duration of the contract.
All applications go through an administrative check and are then evaluated by the Application Evaluation Committee. Applicants who pass the evaluation enter the negotiation process to define the scope of infrastructure support.

Startup/spinoff companies are recognized by the Law on Innovation Activities, in Article 10, paragraph 17/18.
Development company: an existing company that, in its business or part of its business, deals with the development of innovations and/or the application of high-tech solutions that result in innovation.
Complementary organization: an organization that, with its mission and vision, as well as its activities, works to improve the innovation-entrepreneurial ecosystem, and at the same time has goals that are in agreement with the strategic and operational goals of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
Companies with over 50 employees can be members of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro if they meet the other criteria and conditions specified in the public invitation, but they are usually expected to move only their development sector to the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.
The impact on the social community implies an approach through diversity of perspectives and ideas that have a positive impact on the social environment. In this way, the applicant for membership in the NTP of Montenegro shows his commitment to socially responsible business and positive impact on the wider community.
The applicant's particular focus is on affirmative action, which is reflected in the following:
- Support for women in business: The applicant actively supports women as carriers of ideas and business owners, thereby contributing to gender equality and the empowerment of women in the business environment.
- Support to persons with disabilities (PWD): The applicant provides support to persons with disabilities, including them in business activities and providing them with equal opportunities for employment and professional development.
