NGO Centre for Youth Education

The NGO Centre for Youth Education is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political youth organization founded in Podgorica in 2009, with the aim of supporting, promoting, and encouraging young people to strengthen activism, volunteering, mobility, and non-formal education. As a socially responsible organization, it has been implementing national and international projects for years focused on strengthening young people’s capacities, providing non-formal education, developing a culture of youth participation, creating mechanisms to foster activism, developing youth work as support in the process of becoming independent, and improving intersectoral cooperation.

Its key areas of work are activism and networking, non-formal education, digitalization, science and innovation, social entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

The NGO Centre for Youth Education implements two international socially responsible projects in Montenegro – the European Youth Card (EYCA) and Social Impact Award (SIA). In addition to being a member of these networks, the organization also contributes actively to a third international association – the Euclid Network (EN).

The organization is also the founder of a social enterprise supporting the EmpowHer project, an online store offering products and services created by women entrepreneurs in Montenegro.

With more than 85,000 direct users in Montenegro and an established communication infrastructure, the organization works with partners to create diverse opportunities for young people, designed to provide them with better conditions for life.
