Entrepreneurship is more than just a business idea; it is a mindset that requires learning, courage, and the ability of young people to create their own opportunities.
For the potential of an idea to grow into a real solution, innovators need a stimulating environment, expert support, and the chance to gain practical experience.
Guided by the mission of empowering new generations, we invite you to the event YOUTH AND INNOVATION: Presentation of Entrepreneurial Ideas, which the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (STP MNE) is organizing as part of the international YEB (Young Entrepreneurs Western Balkans) project. It will gather young talents and experts from three fields in one place: the blue economy, agriculture, and cybersecurity.
At the very focus of the final event will be the three best teams: AttackStory, SeaSense, and ENVA, which have successfully completed a multi-month intensive support program. Behind them is a period of dedicated work with mentors, a series of educational training sessions, as well as an inspiring study visit to innovation centers in Turin. Now, they are ready to show how they transformed their initial ideas into sustainable business ventures.
In addition to the team presentations, guests will have the opportunity to hear two panel discussions that will merge the energy of young innovators with the experience of experts from all three economic sectors.
The first panel discussion, titled “Building the Ecosystem: Institutional Support and Integration of Young Innovators”, brings insights from the perspective of professionals and decision-makers, focusing on strategic branches of development and the technologies of the future.
The speakers on this panel will be representatives of:
The Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, who will speak about the potential and importance of the blue economy,
The Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C), who will address issues in the field of cybersecurity, and
The Biotechnical Faculty, who will reflect on the integration of innovations in the field of agriculture.
The second panel discussion, “Fall in Love with the Problem: First Steps in Building a Startup”, is dedicated to those who are bravely stepping into the world of innovation.
Their experiences, challenges, and victories on the path from idea to realization will be shared by:
