The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro is always looking for new opportunities to connect our country with Europe. That is why we are delighted to share that we have recently taken another important step forward on the international stage.

Our representative and Director of the Technology Transfer Office, Srna Sudar, phd, participated in the General Assembly of the AlertHub COST Action, held on 18 and 19 June in the Portuguese city of Covilhã.

For STP Montenegro and the TTO, this event holds particular significance. It marks our first official involvement in a COST Action, which in practice means opening new doors for collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity to directly connect with leading European research and innovation institutions, exchange valuable knowledge, and lay the foundations for future joint project initiatives.

This COST Action brings together experts and partners from across Europe with a shared mission of connecting expertise, strengthening research capacities, and creating innovative solutions.

Through our participation in this dynamic network, STP Montenegro is directly contributing to strengthening Montenegro’s position within the European research and innovation landscape. For the local community, this represents a valuable opportunity to gain access to new knowledge, international partnerships, and European networks, which are crucial for strengthening the capacities of our researchers, startups, and the academic community as a whole.

We are confident that this is only the beginning, and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro will continue, through further activities within the AlertHub network, to foster and promote effective technology transfer and build strong connections between our innovators and the most relevant European initiatives.
