Fair of projects in the areas of smart specialization (S3), within which the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, presented some of the innovative projects supported by the national budget, IPA pre-accession support and European Union (EU) programs . More than 30 exhibitors presented their innovative projects and programs, including representatives of innovation infrastructure, universities and centers of excellence, winners of collaborative innovation grants and grants for the early stage of startup development, beneficiaries of the pre-acceleration program, as well as other relevant institutions and actors involved in the implementation of the concept of smart specialization.
The goal of the fair was to bring the concept of innovation closer to young people and the general public, how they contribute to development in the priority areas of smart specialization, which are some of the first results of the implementation of this concept in Montenegro. Šćepanović said that the Days of Science and Innovation festival, after a two-year, returned to Montenegro in order to bring the influence of that world on everyday life closer to experts and the general public, especially young people, but also to show how, along with new inventions and innovative solutions, can create a better future for everyone.
