The Managers Association of Montenegro (AMM) awarded Ms. Valentina Radulović, Executive Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the Project Manager of the Year award, i.e., for the Best Managed Project of the Year. This important recognition for her contribution to the development of the Montenegrin economy and management confirms her work to date, as well as the work of the STP team, and also serves as an important encouragement for the community.
Behind this award stands 23 years of experience in the ICT sector. As a graduate mathematician and Master of Information Systems, Valentina has combined engineering expertise with the management of complex projects throughout her career. A significant part of her professional path has also been dedicated to social engagement and active work on empowering young people in the fields of science and innovation.
She has directed her experience and vision toward the further development of STP, with the aim of creating an institution that concretely supports the development of entrepreneurship and strengthens the innovation ecosystem, which was also recognized through international awards during 2025 — the “Best Innovation and Startup Development Hub – Montenegro” award within the European Enterprise Awards program, as well as admission to full membership of EBN, one of the most prestigious European networks of innovation centers.
The STP community today counts as many as 41 tenants, including startups, spin-off companies, legal entities engaged in innovative activities, and complementary organizations, and our doors are always open to new, ambitious teams and entrepreneurs who want to become part of the innovation ecosystem.
Under Valentina’s leadership and with the support of the entire team, the primary goal of STP is to create a stable framework for the work of innovators and researchers. In this process, an important role is played by the Technology Transfer Office and the PATLIB Centre, which assist in the protection of intellectual property, while our robotics and microchip development laboratories enable the testing of solutions in real conditions, which is of invaluable importance for tenants and the academic community.
However, infrastructure alone is not enough. What the Science and Technology Park team works on every day is building a culture of collaboration, openness, and knowledge exchange.
STP of MNE has become a central meeting and collaboration point for companies, researchers, and the institutional sector. Alongside pride in the prestigious award given to the Executive Director, which is the best indicator of the quality of our ecosystem management, we continue to work towards our primary goal — to be a stable pillar of Montenegro’s innovation and economic development, where good ideas have a secure space to grow.
