As part of the “Days of science and innovation 2023” festival, under the auspices of the Ministry of science and technological Development of Montenegro, a panel discussion titled “The Importance and Role of TTO (Technology Transfer Offices) in the development of the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Montenegro” was held, organized by the science and technology park of Montenegro.

Technology transfer offices (TTO) are a key component of innovation ecosystems worldwide, and their role in supporting the transfer of technology from research institutions to commercial products and services is essential for the development of innovative entrepreneurship.

The panelists, including Velibor Bošković, director of the Science and technology park of Montenegro, Mr. Marijeta Barjaktarović Lanzardi, general director of the directorate for innovation and technological development, prof. Petar Karanikić,phd, from the University of Rijeka, and Srna Sudar, Head of the project office, under the moderation of mr. Radivoje Drobnjak, program activities manager at the Science and technology park of Montenegro, discussed the importance of Technology transfer offices (TTO) in enhancing Montenegro’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. The goal of the panel discussion was to explore how TTOs can contribute to strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in Montenegro.
