Joint Collaboration for new opportunities

His Excellency Karel Urban, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Montenegro, along with his team, visited the Montenegro Science and technology park. During a meeting with the Executive director of the Science and technology park of Montenegro, Velibor Bošković, they discussed the ongoing collaboration, which was particularly relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic in Montenegro. During this time, the Czech embassy strongly supported the coalition focused on producing protective face shields. His excellency mr. Urban expressed gratitude for the excellent collaboration and emphasized that once again, solidarity and team spirit are the foundation of successful work. mr. Urban also informed the STP Montenegro representatives about the Embassy’s activities during the previous period, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and expressed confidence that the established cooperation would continue and strengthen in the near future.

In expressing thanks for the great support and assistance, mr. Velibor Bošković highlighted that the collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic was crucial during the challenging working conditions caused by the pandemic. Pointing out that the established cooperation was more than successful, mr. Bošković also expressed readiness to continue and expand it in the future. During the conversation with mr. Urban, the executive director of STP Montenegro provided a more detailed explanation of the mission and vision of the Science and technology park as an institution that generates activities aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the business, scientific, and academic communities, all in the direction of boosting the competitiveness of the Montenegrin economy and its potential. On this occasion, mr. Urban had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the new proposed legal solutions developed by a working group under the patronage of the Ministry of science, which should provide a significant boost to all activities aimed at improving the business environment in Montenegro and presenting the country as a favorable investment destination in terms of investment, technological entrepreneurship, and innovation activities.

It was concluded that there are numerous opportunities for joint collaboration in the area of knowledge and experience transfer, which should ultimately lead to the generation of new ideas, innovations, and business ventures. The cooperation between the embassy of the Czech Republic and the Montenegro Science and technology park will be deepened in the future with new activities and projects, further bringing together economic entities, as well as the culture and values of the two friendly nations, as concluded at the end of the meeting.
