The capital continues to support the development of women’s entrepreneurship; Competition open until March 6

The Capital City of Podgorica has announced a competition for female entrepreneurs and businesses led by women, allocating funds for those looking to start or grow their own business. The 8th Support for Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition will be open until March 6th.

Through this support initiative by the Capital City, more than 60 women have had the opportunity to develop or enhance their business ideas. So far, the city has allocated €140,000 for this purpose through seven competitions, while this year’s competition provides a fund of €25,000.

Please note that the maximum amount of allocated funds for business plans cannot exceed 25% of the total budget designated by the Capital City for supporting women’s entrepreneurship. A company or entrepreneur can apply for the full amount or a portion of the funds needed for the implementation of activities outlined in their business plan and must specify this in their application. Women entrepreneurs who wish to start their own business or plan to expand their operations must submit the required documentation in a sealed envelope, as detailed in the public competition announcement available on the Capital City’s website (Notice Board). For any questions regarding the competition, information can be obtained on weekdays by calling 020 625 718 or emailing [email protected].
