Internationalisation and networking with European institutions remain among the top priorities for the development of Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem, as demonstrated by another working visit to Brussels by representatives of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and the country’s startup community.
The delegation, comprising Vladan Mašanović, Associate for Education, Networking and Cooperation with the Academic Community at STP Montenegro, and the co-founders of the innovative startup SeaSense, Đuro Radonjić and Stefan Knežević, visited key European agencies and directorates, including the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture and its International Cooperation Unit, as well as the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy.
During their visit, the team attended panels and workshops on the 2026 Macro-Regional Strategies and Sea Basin Strategies and actively participated in the “Networking Village” event. The platform was used to successfully present the EUSAIR Youth POPRI programme and establish new contacts of importance for the further development of innovation.
Participation in this event represents another step towards strengthening the international visibility of Montenegro’s innovation community and confirms the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro’s commitment to creating new opportunities for the development of innovation, startups, and young entrepreneurs through collaboration with European institutions and partners.
