The Ready4EIC program, whose implementation covers the period from August 2026 to February 2027, represents another initiative implemented by the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and funded by the European Commission.
The program aims to provide tailored, expert support to innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in enlargement countries. The main focus includes the improvement of entrepreneurial skills, the commercialization of innovations, and preparing companies to attract investments, with a special emphasis on empowering enterprises to access the funds of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and other support programs at the European Union level.
Through structured support, which is divided into two phases, Ready4EIC responds to the challenges that innovative enterprises face when entering the market, providing them with the necessary knowledge and opportunities for development at both the local and international levels.
The support process for the selected enterprises is structured into two development cycles, designed to provide comprehensive assistance through expert training and personalized mentoring.
During the first round, startups and innovative SMEs go through intensive training in five key areas. In addition to group education, companies are provided with accompanying mentoring and advisory support tailored to their specific needs. Furthermore, every enterprise gets the opportunity for individual consultations conducted with expert support.
Enterprises that qualify for the second phase can expect advanced training focused on the remaining three strategic topics. To ensure the successful implementation of the acquired knowledge, companies will continue to utilize individual consultations, which are provided to them by the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro alongside further systemic support from the GSF.
In addition to the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the participants in the program are: Enterimpact Balkans (Albania), FabLab (Bosnia and Herzegovina), ONEX Digital Innovation Center (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Startup Büro (Georgia), Innovation and Training Park Prizren (Kosovo), Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship – INOVA (North Macedonia), Tekwill ICT technology (Republic of Moldova), Science Technology Park Belgrade (Serbia), ITÜ ARI Teknokent (Turkey), and Technosystem (Ukraine).
Through the implementation of the Ready4EIC program, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro further confirms its strategic role in the development of the innovation ecosystem. By providing direct access to international expertise, mentoring support, and European funds, it creates a stimulating environment for domestic companies to turn their ideas into sustainable business ventures, accelerate their growth, and successfully position themselves in the global market.
