Successfully completed repeat training for preparing applications for Horizon Europe projects

The participants of the training have spent the past few days learning about the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 program and the funding opportunities available through it. Professor Goran Stojanović, phd, provided them with insights into the program’s research and innovation priorities, equipped them with the skills to prepare and create a successful project proposal that the EU aims to fund, and guided them on how to find suitable partners. The training gathered over 20 researchers from public and private universities in Montenegro, scientific research institutions, growing and developing companies, as well as non-governmental organizations. It also included individuals with the potential, goal, and interest to participate in the Horizon Europe program.

Why Horizon Europe?

Horizon Europe offers significant financial support for research and innovation, which can be highly beneficial for organizations engaged in scientific research and the development of new products or services.

Additionally, through the Horizon Europe program, organizations have the opportunity to connect with partners from other countries and establish international cooperation. This can lead to new ideas, technologies, and innovations, as well as the opening of new markets.

Moreover, participation in the Horizon Europe program can contribute to the development of an organization’s research capacity through access to new research methods, training and education, as well as networking with other experts in the field.

Finally, projects supported through the Horizon Europe program often focus on addressing societal challenges, such as health, the environment, sustainable energy, and other important topics. Therefore, participation in the program can help organizations make a positive social impact through their work.

The training was organized by the Science and technology park of Montenegro as part of the “R&I POLICY making, implementation ANd Support in the WEsteRn BalkanS” (POLICY ANSWERS) project, which is funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
