Strengthening the Capacity of Montenegro’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

The Public Works Administration today signed the Public Procurement Contract No. 01-334/20-2139/1 for the construction works of the National Technology Park of Montenegro in Podgorica with the company “Novi Volvox” d.o.o. from Podgorica. This contract was signed based on the Decision on the selection of the most favorable offer No. 01-426-1715 dated March 12, 2020.

The value of the contracted works, including VAT, is 7,996,885.64 euros, and the contractor is required to complete the work within 570 days from the start of the project.

As a reminder, the National Technology Park of Montenegro is one of the most important infrastructure projects of the Ministry of Science and the Government of Montenegro for the development of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, launched in collaboration with the University of Montenegro.

The facilities of the National Technology Park will be available to all innovative companies and individuals who will develop the competitiveness of Montenegro’s economy by utilizing the latest technological achievements, innovations, and scientific research results. In this way, a mechanism for better cooperation between the academic and business sectors will be established, fostering the growth and development of companies and startups based on innovation, knowledge, and digital technologies.
