Visit to the Belgrade Science and technology park with the aim of intensifying collaboration

Representatives of the Science and technology park of Montenegro (STP) visited the Science and technology park Belgrade for a two-day visit. During this study trip, STP representatives toured the Science and technology park Belgrade, the innovation activity fund, as well as member companies within the STP. The focus of the two-day visit was on knowledge and experience exchange, as well as on the potential for collaboration on future projects.

On the first day of the visit, acting director Gordana Danilović-Grković spoke about the challenges faced by the Science and technology park Belgrade and the services it offers Radiša Vićević, the assistant director, introduced us to the infrastructure and functionality of the facility, as well as the logistics.

Programs offered by STP Belgrade to startups and growing companies, aimed at accelerating their development, conquering new markets, and attracting investments, were also presented.

The second day of the two-day visit to Belgrade began with a tour of the innovation activity fund. With colleagues from the Fund, we discussed the programs and services they implement, innovative entrepreneurship, and successfully exchanged experiences and best practices.

Nevena Janković presented to us Serbia’s first pre-seed program, raising stars. We learned about the program concept, which offers business and financial support to startup teams and companies for the accelerated development of innovative products and services in the earliest stages of development.

After visiting the companies within the Science and technology park Belgrade, the study visit concluded with the identification of specific areas for collaboration in the upcoming period, which we are already looking forward to.

This study trip was organized with the aim of connecting with existing partners and meeting potential ones, as well as facilitating the successful exchange of experiences and best practices, and considering possibilities for future cooperation. The study trip was organized with the support of UNDP.
