Valentina Radulović for “Educational work”: STP as a driver of innovation and development

The Montenegrin science and technology park is not just a space – it is a community that brings together innovative companies, researchers, and startups, providing them with support, resources, and opportunities for growth. In an interview for “Educational Work,” the executive director of STP, Valentina Radulović, emphasized that the opening of this institution represents a milestone for the Montenegrin innovation ecosystem and opens new doors for the synergy of science, business, and technology.

STP, located in the university campus, is designed as a safe haven for startups and innovative individuals – a place where young entrepreneurs receive space, mentorship, and access to investors to turn their ideas into real businesses. A special significance is held by the Technology transfer office, the first bridge between scientific research and industry in Montenegro, through which innovations are given the opportunity for commercialization and market placement.

An important segment of STP’s work is international cooperation. By joining the Southeast European science and technology parks alliance, Montenegrin innovators gain greater visibility and access to global resources, which further strengthens the local innovation ecosystem.

“Our goal is for STP to become the epicenter of innovation, a place where talent stays and creates the future.”

In the end, the executive director of STP, Valentina Radulović, emphasized that through programs like SkillsUP, not only are doors opened for professional development in Montenegro, but this also directly contributes to combating brain drain and strengthening the local economy by creating innovative and competitive talent.
