Successfully conducted trainings to support the development of sustainable agriculture and the food value chain in Montenegro

The Science and technology park of Montenegro has successfully conducted a series of trainings aimed at supporting the development of sustainable agriculture and the food value chain in Montenegro. The trainings were held in three cities:

  • Berane – March 4th and 5th at the premises of the Regional Business Center
  • Nikšić – on March 11th and 12th, at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis
  • Tivat – on April 8th and 9th, at the Info Business Center

The aim of these trainings was to provide practical knowledge to participants from rural areas who wish to engage in sustainable agriculture – including the basics of starting their own business, developing business plans, and the process of applying for support from the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management.

Photos from the trainings held in Berane and Nikšić are available in our previous post on this link, while below you can see the photos from the training in Tivat:

The trainings were intended for farmers and producers from rural areas, young people planning to start a business in the field of sustainable agriculture, as well as representatives of the ICT sector who can contribute to improving agricultural practices through innovative solutions.
