The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (STP MNE), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and the European Patent Organization (EPO), is organizing the grand opening of the PATLIB Center “IP4Innovation,” which will take place on December 1, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM in the “MVP” conference hall on the second floor of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.

The PATLIB Center will operate within the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and will serve as the national contact point for support in the field of intellectual property. As part of the European network of over 300 PATLIB centers, it will provide access to relevant information, expertise, and advisory services for researchers, innovators, startup companies, and institutions. The opening of the center represents an important step in strengthening Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem, promoting the strategic use of intellectual property rights and the commercialization of research results.

The event will bring together representatives from the EPO, relevant ministries, the academic community, startups, and the broader innovation ecosystem. The program includes a professional session, a panel discussion, and the official presentation of the PATLIB Center, providing an opportunity for dialogue, experience sharing, and the identification of future needs of innovation stakeholders in Montenegro.
