On Monday, June 23, 2025, the Start-up Evening – Finals of the Competition for the Best Start-up and Entrepreneurial idea was held at the Science and technology park, organized by the UoM Career Development and Lifelong Learning Office and its partners. The aim of the final evening was to promote entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among young people and to provide support for the realization of their initiatives.
During the Start-up Evening, five selected student teams presented their innovative ideas, developed with the support of mentors – professors from the University of Montenegro and experts from the business sector and institutions.
First place was awarded to the AI platform for early detection of breast cancer in Montenegro, created by Aleksandar Drašković, a student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Second place went to the Smart Pill Dispenser, an intelligent device for dispensing medication, while third place was awarded to Stanarko – Home at a Click, an app for safe and simple property rental.
Through a conversation with UoM alumni, participants had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories about career paths, with the message that the right choices and brave steps begin during student days.
The Start-up Evening at the Science and technology park marked the successful conclusion of the competition that affirms the innovative potential of students. The event once again confirmed that the STP is a place where ideas grow.
