The Audience Became Part of the Art: The Exhibition “Bridges Through Sound” Opened at STP

Last night, the art exhibition “Bridges Through Sound” by Marko Gošović was officially opened at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, attracting a large number of guests, including representatives of the cultural and academic communities, as well as contemporary art enthusiasts.

On this occasion, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, Tatjana Ćalasan, addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of nurturing art as well as projects that connect it with science and innovation. She emphasized that such initiatives contribute to the development of creative industries and contemporary cultural expression in Montenegro.

The Executive Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Valentina Radulović, also highlighted the role of STP in creating a connection between science, technology, and culture through such events, providing a space for new ideas and creative expressions. She emphasized that, due to its interdisciplinary nature, this kind of exhibition finds its rightful place at the Science and Technology Park. The exhibition’s author, Marko Gošović, spoke about the concept and creation of the exhibition, presenting to the audience the idea behind the project and the process through which Montenegrin bridges were given not only a visual, but also a sound dimension.

By pressing a button, visitors activated the sounds of individual bridges, combining them into new and ever-changing melodies, thus becoming composers themselves. In this way, the audience was not just a passive observer but an active participant in creating a new aesthetic experience, allowing the bridges to complement their visual structure with melodies and a collective symphony.

The exhibition “Bridges Through Sound,” which is a permanent installation at the Science and Technology Park (co-working space on the ground floor), can be visited on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

By supporting this project, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro reaffirms its significant role in developing creative and innovative practices in Montenegro, as well as in inspiring new ideas and interdisciplinary solutions.
