In collaboration with the Montenegro Science and Technology Park and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, the KOMPakt program was organized for the first time today. The event brought together representatives of small, medium, and large enterprises, institutions, and innovative companies, with the aim of fostering business transformation, enhancing innovation, and strengthening internationalization through the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
The Executive Director of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, Ms. Valentina Radulović, addressed the attendees, emphasizing that the Park is becoming a hub for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, business, and technologies. She highlighted that the openness of companies, the energy of innovators, and the willingness to act together are turning the STP’s vision into reality. “This event demonstrates the importance of inspiring companies to harness the innovative potential that exists in Montenegro, as this builds a more competitive and modern economy, opening space for new partnerships and stronger collaboration,” Radulović stated, expressing special gratitude to the STP tenants, who contribute daily to the development of innovation and the modernization of society through their work and knowledge.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, Nina Drakić, phd, emphasized the importance of such gatherings, which connect the business community, the public sector, and civil society. According to her, the goal is to provide stronger support to domestic companies through the exchange of ideas and knowledge. “This event primarily offers support tools for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, which make up 99% of Montenegrin companies and have a decisive impact on economic development through the creation of new jobs. Support for digitalization and the IT sector is a key prerequisite for their growth,” Drakić highlighted.
The KOMPakt program was designed as a bridge between the needs of industry and the solutions offered by universities, research institutions, innovators, and the IT sector. Participants had the opportunity to learn about available grants and support programs, as well as new technologies and services important for digital transformation and the green transition. In this way, the role of the Chamber of Commerce as a reliable partner in creating a higher-quality business environment and enhancing the international competitiveness of Montenegrin companies is further strengthened.
With the launch of the first KOMPakt program, the foundation has been laid for this event to become a tradition that will bring new knowledge, connections, and growth opportunities each year. The program’s special value lies in its support for the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, enabling Montenegro to advance along the path of Smart Specialization—through the networking of sectoral policies, digital transformation, European integration, and global competitiveness.
Together, we are building a better future.
