The regional Elevator Lab Challenge is organized by Raiffeisen bank and Startit, with applications open until October 31st.
The Elevator Lab Challenge is a regional fintech startup competition organized through local competitions in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, and it is also open to startups from Montenegro and Slovenia. This year, local finals will be held entirely online for the first time: November 20th for Bosnia and Herzegovina, november 23rd for Serbia, and november 26th for Croatia.
By participating in the local competition, startups will have the chance to win a prize of €5,000 and present their ideas to the board of directors of Raiffeisen bank in their respective countries. Additionally, this is an opportunity for startups to receive valuable feedback on their product from relevant industry experts.
The winners from all three countries will then have the chance to present their business at the regional competition finals in front of an expert jury and audience, competing for an additional €5,000 prize. An even more significant prize is that the regional winner will have the opportunity to present their business at the international Elevator Lab Demo Day in march or april 2021. Winners will also benefit from extensive media coverage, training to present their ideas to business clients, and other perks.
The program is open to all startups with a ready MVP (minimum viable product), a dedicated founding team consisting of at least two roles (e.g., CEO and CTO), and a product or service in the fields of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, regulatory technology, payment processing and transactions for mobility services, cybersecurity, and more.
