With the support of a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, the Montenegro Science and technology park, in collaboration with its partners, the faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica, the University of Montenegro, and the Digital Academy, is organizing digITraining!
The training consists of two modules during which participants will gain foundational knowledge in programming and 3D printing basics. Participants should be young people aged 14-16 years who live and study in Podgorica.
In the first module, participants will learn about 3D printing and modeling, allowing them to independently create and print various items on 3D printers. After the second programming module, participants will be able to create games, websites, applications, platforms, and similar content.
At the end of the training, participants will receive mentorship to help them progress from an idea to a concrete innovative solution that addresses challenges our community faces during a crisis. They will create various themed games and 3D printed items to present with their team at the final one-day event.
Registration for digITraining started on october 25th and will continue until november 20th. Afterward, candidates will be notified about the selection results. The registration process is simple; participants need to write a short motivational letter explaining what motivated them to apply for the training and why they want to gain digital skills.
