The first report on the State of artificial Intelligence in Montenegro – STP Montenegro as host and active player in future development

Today, the Science and technology park of Montenegro hosted an event titled “Human-centered development supported by Artificial Intelligence – between potential and responsibility,” organized by UNDP Montenegro, the Ministry of Public administration, and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.

The event marked an important step toward the systemic development of artificial intelligence in the country, with the central part of the program being the presentation of the first “Artificial Intelligence Landscape Assessment” (AILA) report for Montenegro, which will serve as a foundation for the creation of a national strategy and regulatory framework in the field of AI.

The Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Valentina Radulović, addressed the attendees and emphasized the importance of joint efforts in the development of AI in Montenegro, particularly through the connection of institutions, academia, and innovative companies.

The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro reaffirms its commitment to being a key player in the development of Montenegro’s AI ecosystem — through support for startups, the establishment of an AI laboratory, and collaboration with institutions on creating a strategy that will enable AI to develop in the service of people and society.
