The finale of the Open Data Challenge Hackathon will take place at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro on September 19. For this reason, we invite you to join us and be part of an event that supports ideas, innovation, knowledge, and creativity.
The hackathon brings together innovative individuals and teams who believe that open data can be used to create practical solutions that improve everyday life. The goal of the event is to foster creativity, provide space for new ideas, and highlight the importance of making data accessible to everyone, as well as how it can be utilized effectively. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, the Ministry of Public Administration, and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, together with the event partner, the Regional School of Public Administration – ReSPA.
Over the past few weeks, teams have had the opportunity to attend a lecture by expert Aleš Veršič, who introduced them to the importance of open data. Participants also took part in two mentoring sessions, during which we discussed their ideas, explored different approaches, and highlighted ways to further develop them. These sessions provided a chance to receive guidance from mentors and to experience how far they can go when combining knowledge and creativity.
n the grand finale, the five best teams will present their projects. They will showcase in front of the jury and audience how open data can be transformed into concrete solutions and share their vision for a better society. After the presentations, the jury will make a decision and announce the winning team.
This finale is more than a competition – it is an opportunity to see together how powerful and inspiring ideas can be, encouraging us to think differently.
Come join us to support the participants and experience the atmosphere of innovation and collaboration.
