Yesterday, the Info Day for InnoFin Hackathon 2025 was held at the premises of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, a national program that connects innovation, knowledge, and social responsibility in the field of digital financial inclusion. The hackathon is organized as part of the joint activities of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, with the support of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBMNE).

The attendees were addressed by Radivoje Drobnjak, Program Activities Manager at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, and Andrija Jovović, Director of the Payment Systems Sector at the Central Bank of Montenegro. The speakers highlighted the importance of this year’s theme — “Digital Inclusion: An Account That Empowers” — emphasizing the need for accessible, simple, and secure digital solutions that enable citizens easier access to basic financial services, and answered questions from the participants. Following the selection process, 18 teams and one individual participant were officially included in the InnoFin Hackathon 2025 program.

In addition to these teams, the program also includes one individual participant — Dušan Zekić, who will be assigned to one of the existing teams according to the needs and thematic focus.

The program phase of the hackathon will take place from November 17 to December 8, through intensive mentorship sessions conducted both online and onsite. With the support of experts in finance, IT, design, and entrepreneurship, participants will work on developing functional DEMO versions of their solutions — ranging from mobile applications and interactive guides to digital platforms and assistants.

The finale of InnoFin Hackathon 2025 will be held on December 10, 2025, when the top five teams will present their solutions at Demo Day before a professional jury composed of representatives from CBMNE, STP MNE, and partner organizations.

Prizes have been secured for the most successful teams:

1. First Place – €10,000
2. Second Place – €5,000
3. Third Place – €2,000

In addition to the cash prizes, the winning teams will have the opportunity to further develop their projects with the support of the Central Bank of Montenegro and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, as well as access to a broad network of mentors and experts. All intellectual property rights for the awarded solutions belong to CBMNE.
