STP of Montenegro at the regional UNDP workshop on AI cyber threats and disinformation in Istanbul

The Director of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park (STP), Valentina Radulović, participated in the workshop “Mitigating AI-Driven Cyber-Threats and Disinformation” held in Istanbul, organized by the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub.

The workshop brought together key regional stakeholders in innovation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, aiming to strengthen collaboration and develop joint approaches for the responsible development and application of artificial intelligence.

At the meeting, led by UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub representatives — Vitalie Vremis, Irena Cerović, and Envesa Hodžić-Kovac — STP Montenegro’s strategic vision was presented, along with its potential to position STP as a Regional Specialized Hub for AI, cybersecurity, and advanced technologies.

Particular focus was placed on opportunities for joint action in the following areas:

  • the development of AI and advanced digital technologies,
  • strengthening cybersecurity capacities in the region,
  • the application of blockchain technologies,
  • enhancing STEM skills,
  • creating AI sandbox environments,
  • and connecting with UNDP expertise and EU funding.

Through active participation in such regional initiatives, STP of Montenegro reaffirms its commitment to building an advanced and resilient innovation ecosystem.

We will continue to develop partnerships, support innovative projects, and create conditions for the faster adoption of new technologies, aiming to contribute to a more competitive and technologically advanced Montenegro and region.
