Organized by the Investment Agency of Montenegro and the European Union Delegation to Montenegro, the EU–Montenegro Investment Conference: “Smart Growth, Green Future – Accelerating Investment in Montenegro (AIM)” was held on October 14–15 at The Chedi Hotel in Luštica Bay.
The conference brought together representatives from the European Commission, the Government of Montenegro, international investors, innovation institutions, and the startup community, with the aim of identifying new investment opportunities and accelerating Montenegro’s transition toward a sustainable, digital, and green economy.
One of the panels, “Incubation & Startup Ecosystem – Towards a Station M,” was dedicated to the development of Montenegro’s first integrated innovation campus – Station M. The panel featured Valentina Radulović, Director of the Scientific and Technological Park of Montenegro, alongside representatives from international funds, accelerators, and technology companies.
Speaking from the perspective of the STP, Radulović emphasized that the Station M project represents a key step in strengthening Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem through three strategic directions: Regionalization – establishing a Western Balkans center for innovation and collaboration, Internationalization – connecting with European and global innovation networks, and Digital-Green Transformation – supporting startups that develop sustainable and technologically advanced solutions.
As a national innovation infrastructure, the STP of Montenegro plays a key role in building a bridge between research, talent, and business, as well as connecting local startups with international partners and investors.
