Ministers of public administration, education, Ssience and innovation, and Foreign affairs and european integration visited the ongoing works at the Science and technology park

Minister of public administration, Marash Dukaj, the Minister of education, science, and innovation, Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, the Minister of foreign affairs, Filip Ivanović, phd and the minister for european affairs, Maida Gorčević, visited the Science and technology park Montenegro today to inspect the progress of construction works in preparation for the opening of the Regional center for cybersecurity and cyber capacity development of the Western Balkans (WB3C).

Today’s visit was organized at the initiative of the minister of public administration, Marash Dukaj, with the presence of other partners involved in the implementation of this project. Minister Dukaj emphasized that the opening of the Regional center for ceber security and cyber capacity development of the Western Balkans (WB3C) is a priority that needs to be realized as soon as possible, in line with the planned timeline and agreements with relevant international partners. This topic received special attention during Minister Dukaj’s recent visit to Paris, in line with the support provided by the Republic of France and Slovenia for this project.

Minister of education, science, and innovation, prof.Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović,phd, expressed her delight that the works on this facility are nearing completion and that Montenegro will finally have a facility of this type, designed and built in accordance with the most modern European and global standards in this field. The facility spans approximately 13,000 square meters, with the works in the final phase, and the opening is scheduled for the end of April. “The Science and technology park will be a key place for knowledge transfer between the academic and business communities and, as such, will foster an innovative culture and help transform the Montenegrin economy toward a knowledge-based economy, which is one of the key priorities of this Government. We are confident that STP will be a central place for education, the development of innovative ideas, the realization of scientific research projects, and that it will bring numerous benefits not only to scientists, researchers, professors, and students but also to innovators,entrepreneurs, business people, and the entire business community,”said minister Jakšić-Stojanović.
