It is a series of events focused on information and communication technology topics, spread across 7 days of rich content.

The official opening of ICT Week is scheduled for monday, october 3rd, when the winners of the City of Podgorica’s Contest for supporting the startup ICT community will be announced and presented with vouchers for attending the largest IT event, the Web Summit conference in Lisbon. On the first day of ICT Week, the second networking gathering of ICT community representatives will also be organized by the cluster, accompanied by a musical performance by the Lombelico band.
Tuesday, october 4th is reserved for two themed events: at 10:00 am, the conference on cybersecurity titled “Integrator” will begin at the CUE hotel, organized by cluster member Sky Express. In the afternoon, for all gaming enthusiasts, a Gaming night will be organized, featuring presentations from Montenegrin gaming studios and their pioneering steps in this promising industry, with the central event being the 3Hills “League of Legends” competition and accompanying entertainment activities.
The third day of ICT Week is dedicated to young innovators. Various workshops, quizzes, and competitions in the fields of programming, gaming, and IT innovations will take place at the booths of IT companies and innovative organizations. The content planned for this day will be especially exciting for the younger population.
The final event of the first season of the ICT education program, Cortex academy, will also be organized as part of ICT Week on october 6th.
On the same day, a meetup dedicated to women in ICT, Women in Tech, will be held at Kuslev’s House, featuring successful women who demonstrate through their work that women deserve a place in this promising and rapidly growing industry. On Thursday, October 6th, Crnogorski Telekom will present advanced solutions for the digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses to the business community at the Hilton Hotel.
“The Role of Fintech in the Democratization of environment” is the title of the CBCG Fintech Conference, organized for the second consecutive year by the Central Bank of Montenegro in cooperation with ICT Cortex and the Association of Banks of Montenegro. In addition to representatives from central banks of Europe and Asia, and international fintech companies, the event will also feature the European bank for reconstruction and development, Mastercard, as well as the Montenegrin banking and ICT sectors – members of the Montenegrin cluster ICT Cortex. The conference will also host the opening ceremony of the regional CBMNE Fintech Hackathon – a 48-hour competition for creating fintech solutions.
The third conference of this ICT-focused week will be held the following day, on Saturday, October 8th, under the name IT Spot. The conference will be opened by Janek Rozov from the Government of Estonia, who will showcase potential directions for the digitalization of public administration based on his country’s example. The conference will cover trends in IT, the importance of ecosystems, and the development of leaders who will initiate and implement digital changes in society, smart cities, and more.
On stage, representatives from the regional IT scene, as well as experts in the fields of human resource management and smart cities, will appear.
The closing of ICT Week is scheduled for Sunday, October 9th, at the Hilton Hotel, following the announcement of the winners of the II CBCG Fintech Hackathon.
