What is EIT Infrabooster? It is a modular training and mentoring program for representatives of scientific or innovation organizations that own certain research infrastructure (equipment, laboratories, databases) funded by public funds. The program offers capacity building and support in designing infrastructure-based services that could be offered to a larger number of users. This enhances collaboration with industry, international visibility, and the innovation potential of the institution. Creating services based on equipment, data, or other infrastructure helps establish new revenue streams. During the program, you will learn how to leverage existing assets: commercially relevant research infrastructure, skills, and knowledge of your teams.
EIT Infrabooster has received funding from the European institute of innovation and technology (EIT), an EU body, under the Horizon Europe program, making it free of charge for selected participants.
The call for EIT Infrabooster Practitioner is open until April 13. This module offers education and mentorship, guiding participants toward creating specific services. A prerequisite for joining this level is the completion of the online training at the foundational level – Infrabooster Foundation.
You can learn about the results of previous Infrabooster cycles in the catalog of services developed through participation in the program.
