
The Director of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, Valentina Radulović, and Program Manager Radivoje Drobnjak held a meeting with H.E. Abdulla Lootah, Deputy Minister for Competitiveness of the United Arab Emirates, during his official visit to Montenegro.
The discussion focused on opportunities for cooperation between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, and smart development, with a particular emphasis on knowledge and technology transfer.
H.E. Lootah emphasized the United Arab Emirates’ readiness to share their experiences, knowledge, and expertise in building and managing innovation infrastructure, noting that the UAE currently has over 70 active science and technology parks and innovation centers. These models serve as examples of effective science-industry integration and contribute to the creation of a sustainable innovation ecosystem.
The representatives of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park expressed their gratitude for the openness to cooperation and the opportunity to enhance knowledge and technology transfer through joint initiatives, as well as to create conditions for developing new partnerships between institutions of the two countries.
