Open day at STP – Building an Innovators’ community

STP has once again reaffirmed its role as a center of innovation through the Open day event – a gathering of visionaries, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts on a mission to shape the future.

The event was opened by STP’s program activities manager, Radivoje Drobnjak, who emphasized that human resources are the key drivers of innovation and the development of any society. He highlighted that 23 STP residents are already actively working on innovative projects, while the Second public call, announced in February this year, presents a new opportunity for welcoming new residents and innovative ideas that will further strengthen the ecosystem.

This day was an opportunity to hear firsthand about the products and services being developed and the technologies being used by the companies and teams that became part of the STP community through the first Public call.

Among the STP residents who participated in the event and presented their ideas were ONEAI, Artificial Intelligence Software Solutions, Azoteq, G Consulting, the Institute of Contemporary Technologies of Montenegro, Logik Montenegro, Modrone, Montezuma, Uhura, Paid.mne, Ninamedia Clipping, Sjever.me, the Center for Finance, and Web Falcon.

Special attention was drawn to The Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C), a key initiative dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity capacities. The center plays a significant role in sharing knowledge and best practices in cybersecurity, cybercrime prevention, and cyber diplomacy.

VirtuGuardians, the winning team from the SkillsUp program, also presented their work at the Open Day. Their innovative idea, which secured first place, is now being further developed in the inspiring environment of the Science and technology park of Montenegro, where they have the opportunity to refine it and bring it to the market.

Among the youngest guests were students from the Secondary school of Economics “Mirko Vešović” in Podgorica, which is a special source of pride for STP. Through continuous investment in education and mentorship, we strive to provide young talents with inspiration and support on their path to innovation and entrepreneurship.

In addition to high school students, the event was attended by students from the University of Montenegro, particularly from the faculties of Mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and Economics. They had the opportunity to explore innovative projects, technological solutions, and the opportunities that STP offers to young people in the fields of science and entrepreneurship.

Tanja Radusinović, director of the Project sector at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, also addressed the attendees and STP residents, emphasizing full support for the development of the digital ecosystem and the Chamber’s readiness to be a partner on this journey.

The Open Day was not just a formal presentation – it was a meeting full of idea exchange, networking, and the creation of concrete plans for the future. Participants agree: every such event brings new opportunities, strengthens business operations, and boosts the entrepreneurial spirit.

The inspirational atmosphere and strong energy showed that STP is much more than just a space – it is a community where technology transforms into opportunity, and ideas take flight.
