Girls’ Day in ICT II: The Future of Innovation Has a Female Face

The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro was filled with energy, curiosity, and inspiration — marking Girls’ Day in ICT II. In the Unicorn Hall of STP, as many as 124 girls and 15 teachers from 13 schools in Podgorica, Zeta, Nikšić, Sutomore, and Petrovac gathered. Together with 11 mentors — young innovators, startup founders, and project managers — they took their first steps into the world of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Under the guidance of the outstanding lecturers Marina Braletić, project manager at Five Group, and Anika Vilotić, young innovator and 3D designer, the participants learned how to turn their ideas into innovations that have value for the community. Through interactive workshops, teamwork, and creative thinking, ideas emerged that demonstrate that the future of innovation truly has a female face!

The event featured the Mini EXPO “Meet Our Heroines,” where the girls had the opportunity to talk with successful women from local startups—Five Group, IMTM, Sentiment Scope, Solutaria, SkillsUP, and Montenegro Robotics—and, through working on business idea development and gaining inspiration to work and create as a team, discover the path to their own potential.

We thank our partners and benefactors—Copy Centar Podgorica, Eko Borsa Podgorica, and our strategic partner Five Group—who supported the competition and provided valuable prizes for the most creative teams.

This day proved that when girls are given space, support, and inspiration—they create miracles! “I can be the one who shapes the future!” — a message that resonated throughout the entire day.
