he participants of the training recently learned about the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 program and the opportunities for project funding within this program. Professor Goran Stojanović, phd, provided valuable insights on the program’s priorities for research and innovation, equipping participants with the skills to prepare and create successful project proposals that the EU is willing to fund. He also guided them on how to find appropriate project partners. The training brought together over 15 researchers from public and private universities in Montenegro, research institutions, growing companies, and NGOs, as well as individuals with the potential, goals, and interest in participating in the Horizon Europe program.
Why Horizon Europe?
Horizon Europe offers significant financial support for research and innovation, which can be of great help to organizations engaged in scientific research and the development of new products or services.
Also, through the Horizon Europe program, organizations have the opportunity to connect with partners from other countries and establish international collaboration. This can lead to new ideas, technologies, and innovations, as well as the opening of new markets.
In addition, participation in the Horizon Europe program can contribute to the development of organizations’ research capacity through access to new research methods, training and education, as well as networking with other experts in the field.
Finally, projects supported through the Horizon Europe program often focus on addressing societal challenges such as health, the environment, sustainable energy, and other important issues. Therefore, participation in the program can help organizations achieve a positive societal impact through their work.
The training was organized by the Montenegro science and technology park as part of the “R&I POLICY making, implementation AND Support in the WESTern Balkans,” abbreviated POLICY ANSWERS, which is funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe program for research and innovation.
