Montenegro has signed the Agreement on joining the European Union’s “Digital Europe” program – Montenegro has become a member of the European Union’s “Digital Europe” program.

During the official visit of the Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, Montenegro signed the Agreement between the European Union and Montenegro on joining the “Digital Europe” Program. Signing this agreement is one of the most significant activities regarding the digital future of Montenegro. Minister Dukaj stated that, with the support of European Union partners, Montenegro will accelerate the development of digital transformation, improve electronic services, enhance cyber attack prevention methods, and promote digital education, aiming to provide citizens and businesses with modern technologies. “This is great news. The agreement opens a new chapter for the development of our country, aiming to enhance digital transformation and overall economic progress, benefiting the entire community. The €7.5 billion fund now becomes available for applying with projects and innovations,” said Minister Dukaj. “Digital Europe opens the doors for us to participate in projects financed by the Program, collaborate with partners across the European Union, use solutions developed through the program, and keep pace with the European Union’s priorities in digital technologies,” emphasized Minister Dukaj.
