The Science and technology park of Montenegro proudly announces that, on October 28, 2024, it joined the Alliance of science and technology parks and Innovative ecosystems of Southeast Europe in Sofia. This Alliance brings together key players in the fields of science, technology, and innovation from the region, including science and technology parks, universities, research institutes, and innovative companies from Southeast European countries.

The goal of the Alliance is to contribute to the sustainable economic growth of the region through technological development and innovation, strengthening cooperation between the academic community and the business sector, as well as fostering entrepreneurial activities. Special attention will be given to the development of new business opportunities and the improvement of the quality of life in the region. Through joint activities, the members of the Alliance will work on promoting innovations, technology transfer, organizing training, exchanging best practices, and implementing joint projects financed by EU programs and other sources.

By joining this Alliance, the Science and technology park of Montenegro continues to strengthen its role in the regional innovation ecosystem and contribute to the improvement of the competitiveness of scientific and research infrastructure in Montenegro and the region. Our commitment to supporting scientists, entrepreneurs, and researchers remains strong, and through this collaboration, we will further enhance our capacities to implement innovative projects and encourage new opportunities for growth and development.

This partnership also opens doors for montenegrin startups and entrepreneurs to gain opportunities for networking, mentorship, and easier access to the regional market through participation in joint initiatives such as the “South East European Innovators Challenge.”
