The Open Call within the POLICY ENLARGE project provides a total of €300,000 in grants to support cross-border cooperation in research and innovation (R&I) in the enlargement region. Through three tailored funding instruments, the program offers grants of up to €8,000 per project, or up to €5,000 for mobility and people-to-people cooperation projects.

As part of this call for grants, the POLICY ENLARGE project is organizing its second informative webinar titled “How to Apply”.

The main goal of the online event is to provide direct support to all interested organizations and potential applicants, resolve any doubts, and provide all the information necessary for preparing high-quality and competitive project documentation.

Who is the webinar for and what will you learn?

This webinar is designed as a practical workshop tailored to both experienced organizations and those applying for EU grants for the first time.

You will go through the application process in detail, with a special focus on key areas:

• Step-by-step guidelines for the OnePass platform: You will learn how to properly create a profile, fill out all electronic forms, and successfully submit your application without technical difficulties.
• Understanding Eligibility Rules: You will go through all formal and legal eligibility criteria in detail to ensure that your organization and partners meet the conditions of the call.
• Avoiding common Proposal Pitfalls: Based on experiences from previous cycles, you will be shown the most frequent mistakes in project writing (poorly structured budgets, misalignment with the call’s objectives, incomplete documentation) and taught how to successfully avoid them.

The first deadline for submitting grant applications is November 12, 2026, making this webinar an excellent opportunity to review and perfect your application.
