YEB (Young Entrepreneurs Western Balkans) project was launched in January 2026 and is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.

The project aims to empower youth from the Western Balkans who have no, or very little, experience in the labor market by providing them with support in developing and launching their own entrepreneurial initiatives through mentoring sessions, work with experts, networking, and study visits.

YEB responds to challenges such as high unemployment rates, lack of practical experience, limited access to mentoring, as well as a weak entrepreneurial culture and a lack of development opportunities, by creating an environment that fosters initiative, innovation, and international cooperation.

Main Goals

The primary objectives of the project are empowering youth through the acquisition of practical knowledge and insights for successfully starting a business, as well as promoting intercultural exchange and regional cooperation.

The expected results of the project for participants include:

• Acquiring concrete entrepreneurial skills;
• Developing business ideas;
• Networking with youth from the region;
• Connecting with international innovation ecosystems;
• Contributing to the development of a sustainable and inclusive economy.

Partnerships The Science and Technology Park implements YEB in partnership with:

Through YEB, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro further confirms its role as a key player in the development of entrepreneurship, innovation, and international cooperation, creating opportunities for youth to turn their ideas into sustainable business ventures.
