Supporting the Development of Future Talent: High School Students from Nikšić Visit the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro

We are always delighted when our innovation ecosystem is energised by young and curious minds! Although the school year has officially come to an end, the desire to learn and acquire new skills never takes a break at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro.

That is why we were delighted to welcome a group of final-year and third-year students from Nikšić’s “Stojan Cerović” Grammar School, as part of our ongoing and successful cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Montenegro.

We introduced them to the world of modern technologies, engineering, and entrepreneurship. Radivoje Drobnjak, MSc, Head of the Innovation Programmes and Projects Sector, introduced the students to the role STP Montenegro plays in the development of the entire domestic ecosystem, as well as to the specific support programmes we offer. Given the students’ interest, as they are only beginning to shape their professional paths, we placed particular emphasis on our SkillsUp programme. This programme represents an ideal stepping stone for young people, providing them with an opportunity to develop the key skills needed to meet future academic and career challenges.

What encouraged us most as hosts was the students’ proactive participation during the discussion. Their numerous questions and strong interest in new technologies and developing their own ideas are a clear indication that our country has a wealth of outstanding young talent. Visits like these are much more than regular activities for us—they are an investment in the future.

The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro remains open to all young people who want to explore their interests, and we look forward to the day when we will see some of these young minds developing their first major innovation projects right here under our roof!
