The future does not belong to those who passively wait for change to happen, but to those who actively develop the skills needed to shape it. Guided by this belief, we proudly mark International Youth Skills Day, reminding ourselves of the importance of empowering new generations to meet the challenges of the modern world.
In an era of rapid technological change and unpredictable global trends, the most valuable skills are no longer limited to what we know today. The key advantage lies in the ability to continuously learn, adapt quickly to new circumstances, and develop innovative solutions. The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro works towards this goal every day, serving as a dynamic ecosystem that successfully brings together expertise, advanced technology, and ambitious people.
Our mission is to create a supportive environment where young talents can freely develop their ideas, gain practical experience, and build the competencies that will shape the future workforce. By providing the right infrastructure and mentoring support, we help them bridge the gap between formal education and the real needs of the modern economy.
Through a wide range of carefully designed programmes, competitions, and hackathons, we provide direct support to young innovators on their journey from an initial idea to a concrete, sustainable solution. We are particularly proud of programmes such as SkillsUp, Girls in ICT and STEM Day, SAFE HACK, Open Data Challenge, BoostMeUp, and INNO-FIN, among many others.
These programmes are designed to provide young people with a platform to develop their entrepreneurial, technological, and leadership skills. Participants have the opportunity to test their innovations in a supportive environment, learn how to overcome development challenges, and confidently present their solutions to national and international audiences.
The Science and Technology Park of Montenegro remains a hub where theoretical knowledge meets practice and bold visions are transformed into products and services that contribute to the advancement of the entire innovation ecosystem.
Everything we have achieved so far is only the beginning. We will soon be introducing entirely new programmes and opportunities for education and professional development.
