GenAI x AWS is a training program focused on developing production AI systems, with a special emphasis on AI engineering and cloud technologies (AWS). The program is designed for students and engineers who want to gain practical understanding of how modern generative AI systems work, from design and development to deployment in a production environment.

It is important to emphasize that the program is not focused on using existing AI tools, but on the development, design, and implementation of AI solutions.

The program covers the following thematic modules:

• Generative AI and the Basics of Large Language Models (LLMs)

• AI Services on AWS

• Prompt Engineering and Working with LLM APIs

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Systems

• Developing AI Applications with Custom Data

• Vector Databases and Embeddings

• AI Agents and Automation

• Model Evaluation and Fine-Tuning

• System Design for AI Systems

• Deployment and Scaling of AI Solutions on AWS

The training is based on a combination of theoretical and practical sessions, with a focus on real-world implementations and understanding the development of modern AI systems, from prototype to production.

The program is delivered by the Montenegrin Association for Artificial Intelligence (MAIA), AWS User Group Montenegro, and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, with lectures taking place at the Park’s facilities. A detailed program agenda will be published soon.
