Girls in ICT: Creativity and Technology Without Borders

Today, the workshop “3D Design and Basics of Marketing” was successfully held, organized by STP MNE/TTO, as part of the event “Girls in ICT,” where the participants of today’s workshop were members of the winning team of the event!

In the modern world, creativity and technology go hand in hand. The workshop was designed to introduce girls aged 12 to 14 to 3D design and the basics of marketing in an engaging, accessible, and encouraging way — without pressure, grading, or any prior knowledge.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Developing creative and logical thinking
  • Encouraging self-confidence and idea expression
  • Introducing the world of design, technology, and entrepreneurship
  • Demonstrating how an idea can become a product and a brand

During the workshop, participants:

  • Learned what 3D design is and how it is used in everyday life
  • Designed their first simple 3D object
  • Learned the basics of marketing and branding
  • Created a name, colors, and slogan for their mini brand
  • Presented their work in a safe and supportive environment

The workshop was led by Anika Vilotić, a professional 3D designer with international experience and projects for brands such as Ferrari and Porsche. Anika particularly emphasizes the importance of introducing girls early to creative-technology professions, free from stereotypes, showing that 3D design and technology are not reserved for boys but represent a powerful tool for expressing ideas and creativity.

At the end of the workshop, each participant received:

  • A certificate of participation
  • A sense of achievement and self-confidence
  • Motivation to continue pursuing design, technology, and creative professions

Congratulations to all participants and the winning team! Every girl has the power to shape the world – through creativity, design, and technology, they become the leaders of the future!
