Innovation and Digital Transformation: STP and MTEL Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

The Montenegro Science and Technology Park (STP MNE) and MTEL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, officially launching a strategic partnership aimed at advancing science, technology, and innovation, with a particular focus on digital transformation and the development of modern digital services.

The Memorandum was signed by STP’s Executive Director, Valentina Radulović, and MTEL’s CEO, Zoran Milovanović.

This agreement opens the way for closer collaboration between the academic community, the startup sector, and the business sector, aiming to support young talents and strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic economy.

The collaboration will be implemented through three key programs: i4ME Hub, a space for turning ideas into concrete projects; Innovate Montenegro 2026, a technology and innovation festival; and the MTEL AI Academy, the first academy of its kind in Montenegro.

The programs will focus on education, mentorship, networking, and the practical application of modern technologies, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.

Valentina Radulović, Director of STP, emphasized that the partnership with MTEL opens new opportunities for developing joint projects, knowledge exchange, and supporting innovators, highlighting that this is an important step toward strengthening the overall innovation ecosystem in Montenegro.

Zoran Milovanović, CEO of MTEL, stated that the Memorandum represents a key step in strengthening innovation potential and accelerating digital transformation, adding that the collaboration with STP will enable the development of concrete projects, knowledge exchange, and the creation of new digital solutions of importance to the broader community.
