At the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, on November 3, 2025, a ceremonial certificate award ceremony was held for participants of the “Training on Preparation and Submission of Project Proposals under the Horizon Europe Program,” which took place from May to November 2025.

In the opening part of the ceremony, the participants were addressed by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, Tatjana Ćalasan, and the Director of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park, Valentina Radulović. They emphasized the importance of organizing expert trainings and providing support in project proposal preparation, highlighting their contribution to strengthening the capacities of institutions, companies, and civil society organizations in Montenegro.

Due to the complexity of preparing project proposals under the Horizon Europe program, as well as the need to balance existing commitments with the time required to prepare an application, several organizations unfortunately withdrew from further participation in the process.

The training program began with individual team consultations with the expert, Prof.Goran Stojanović, phd, held on May 29, 2025, at the premises of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro. The main topic of the first day of training was “How to Write a Successful Project Proposal.”

Subsequent sessions were conducted online. Each team had access to seven online consultation sessions between June and October 2025. The sessions were organized to monitor the progress of each team’s project proposal development, assist in consortium formation, provide guidance for further refinement, and, finally, conduct a final evaluation of the project proposals with suggestions for achieving the best possible outcomes for the submitted projects.

Prof. Goran Stojanović, phd, an expert in project writing under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programs from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, guided the participants through the entire process of mastering the steps in project proposal preparation with great enthusiasm and dedication.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, broaden their perspectives, receive concrete guidance, and successfully write and submit project proposals. Some participants prepared two, and in some cases even three, project proposals, which represents an outstanding result and confirms the success of the training, significantly exceeding the initial expectations.

Through this and other projects, the Montenegro Science and Technology Park will continue to provide support to researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of our country.
